CA summers + sweaty palms = wet suede... I just hope it's optional.

Microfiber suede.......why do some think it's going to fall off if you blink at it funny?

This isn't BMW, people...Chevy won't put a material in the vehicle if it's going to 'molt' after 2 years...

Im not knockin' the suede, and you're right, they have probably thought it through enough already (cuz its on the CTS-V right?) I put a TKO-600 tremec in a 72 chevelle and drove it for a while with the hole cut in the floor. Man did it get hot right on the shifter. But even with all that heat, I never lost grip of the black plastic ball on my Hurst shifter. I really like the feel of it and I have seen too many leather shift knobs wear out over a few years. So my thinking is this suede had better be tougher than leather or else it will wear the same or even quicker. Just thinkin out loud here...

And trust me... if its standard, I DON'T CARE, I'M GETTIN ONE!

Any thoughts on the cast iron exhaust manifolds? I understand they control heat really well, but they're kinda restrictive right?

I searched through the exploded view of the LSA and they look almost like shorty headers and smooth...not what I am used to seeing with cast "manifolds". I also found out they will be a stainless steel casting. Good enough for me.
