I'm sure you can get 4 out of the 5 cars for the price of a DB9.
1. you're looking at the most expensive possible place to get a DB9... I've seen them for $120k

2. by the time 2012 rolls around, a ZR1 will still be around 90k, in good shape, and the DB9 should be around $70k in good shape.

3. the Challenger is above the C6 Z06 because I already have a C5 FRC (basically a Z06 clone) and dont really need another Corvette, but wouldn't mind owning one if the price was right.

4. I have my personal tastes and you have yours... do not ever confuse the two.

well, lets see: 1) of course is Camaro V-8, 2) Pontiac G-8 GT, 3) Malibu- LTZ, 4th is a tie between the Mustang GT and (may the auto gods forgive me) Challenger R/T.

I do like the rx 8, i just think it would look so much better as a plain 2 door car. get rid of those itty bitty doors, its not like a person could fit back there anyway, unless they are midgets.

I think I'd rather buy a 69 Z28 then the latest Camaro. it will be a long time before I can afford anything however, since I'm going into med school this year -_-

If I don't get the 5th gen then I'll look at a 4th or 3rd gen, maybe a cobalt turbo or a g8! I could possibly commit heresy and look into a challenger but at least its not a mustang.

amazingly enough, the back seat of an RX-8 isn't too bad... a little cramped, but I fit into one with the front seat only slightly pushed forward... and I'm 6'1" tall.

the RX-8 is a nice car, and extremely well balanced, but its a rotary car... and rotary engines are crazy prone to failure... so they spend most of their lives in the shop or relegated to second or third car status instead of being daily drivers.
