Thanks for the welcome everyone, it's great to be here! I ordered a black/beige 2SS/RS LS3. I've heard it takes about two weeks to ship it to the dealership after production. Is that a fair estimate?

OMG OMG OMG

I am in So. Cal. My TPW was 10/25. It was built 10/21.

Now my dealer just called and said my car is in.

Unfortunately I cannot pick it up till tomorrow. Doooh.

But I am soooooo haaapppyyy.

Good luck to all my fellow 10/25rs. I am way out in So. Cal and I had stripes ordered so you guys should get yours shortly.

Finally, and not a day too soon! Judging by the status changes (from 4B00 and back again) we're hoiping he stripes have been applied and the car is actually ready for shipment to the dealer.

08/24/2010 - (1100) Order Placed at Dealership Order passed GM edit tables but dealers has not received allocation to place order
08/24/2010 - (1102) Order Entered via Web
10/05/2010 - (2000) Order Accepted by GM Dealer used allocation to place order into production
10/05/2010 - (2500) Order Preferenced Order pulled to the production system
10/05/2010 - (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.
10/09/2010 - (3100) Order available to sequence.
10/09/2010 - (3300) Order Scheduled for Production Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle
10/19/2010 - (3400) Order Broadcast (Internal Plant Paperwork Order Produced) Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together
10/28/2010 - (3800) Order produced and vehicle is ready for shipping.
10/28/2010 - (4000) Vehicle available to ship
10/28/2010 - (4150) Invoiced (Order is invoiced to the dealer)
10/28/2010 - (4300) Interm transfer; processing transfer to QC or vendor
10/28/2010 - (4200) Shipped (Vehicle is shipped to the dealer or point of delivery)
10/28/2010 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by Truck, Rail or transfer to vendor

Mine was built on 10/19 It's still on the train in Indiana Im in so. cal also ....soon i hope. And congrats again

Thanks! My new SS is on the train right now. If the weather holds up I'll be doin a practice run from here to Milwaukee. Gotta be ready for Grand-Am 2011!
