That is a nice spot for the LED's. Nice job! There's a lot of great information in here. Keep it up guys!

Sure, I wouldn't mind taking a crack at doing it again. It would certainly be easier the 2nd time!

I want to do this mod. I have a 2011 2SSRS Vert. Do I contact 2SSRS for all of the harness parts I need. I know I don't have the connector in the drivers side panel. I would like to stay away from t taps if possible.

I have read through a few different ways to do this mod and I think this is the best one. I still haven't been able to figure out how to extend the door LED up to meet the dash though.

a 2011 would not have the connectors. If you contact 2SSRS he can hook you up with the harness and the light tubes

I need to get some LEDs if someone could PM me--thanks. Also, I have a 2011 as well. If the connectors are NOT in the dash, what harness is required from 2SSRS? Thanks for the help.

Send a PM to "2SSRS" (Ofer is his real name). He will give you what you need.

I just upgraded to a 2012 2LT and while the car was in the shop for add'l dealer incentives, they gave me a 2011 Buick Lacrosse. I was amazed at the dash's interior lighting and angry that they left Camaro owners in the cold. I wanted to take the dash apart before returning the car but didn't have time.

FYI: 2011 Buick Interior Dash

I've located some parts on the GM Parts House Website: 2011 Buick Lacrosse Dash Parts

There is a gap between the wood painted panel and the upper dash for the tube to peak through but I think we could steal the light rod for ourselves! However, why don't I see it in the parts list?
For whatever reason your link didn't work for me, but I found it on my own:
http://store.gmpartshouse.com/partlo...layCatalogid=0

The problem is that there is no part number or price listed
If I can get a hold of this I would definately try to pioneer this with all factory parts!

EDIT: Your link started working but it looks like it includes the trim piece and the light tube. I just want the light tube which doesn't have a P/N.
