Installed mine this morning and I already feel the torque. Also idle is a lot smoother.

Hey, What size insulator do you have? The 24mm or the 3/8"?

just finished the install. 25mm insulator and plenum spacer & OEM gaskets. its a tight fight but nothing touches gonna give marilyn a bath then take her for a drive...

Love your painted IM & Plenum cover, looks great. Maybe some eyeballs in the Plenum cover bolt sockets area. lol

Here is my impression on the 12mm plenum spacer.

I haven't had a chance to dyno the plenum spacer like I wanted to so I can't say how much gain the plenum spacer offer, but going off my butt dyno, the "feel" is not the same as when I had first installed the 25mm insulator, but I wouldn't expect the same type of gain as the 25mm insulator because the effect of extra plenum volume is much different than what a intake manifold insulator does.

The main thing I noticed as I mentioned awhile back is that there's much less knock. Usually there would be about 3* of KR at part throttle from about 2k rpm and goes up to about 4*-5* by 4k rpm. After the plenum spacer there's 0 kr from 2k rpm and does not start to reappear until about 3500rpm but with much less kr. I was actually very surprised by this and vince had to actually recheck my tune to make sure that I was not running with kr desensitized adjustment Our LLT is very kr active naturally. 1* of less kr mean more stable power!

The torque seem to be much more flatter after the spacer too.

Off topic but i have to ask. Will you have a group buy for both 25 mm isolator and plenum spacer. I think alot of v6 members would jump on this.

i believe steve was offering a package deal when you purchase both. you should see how much he has to eat in cost just to ship from the land down under! it made my eyes hurt when i saw the charges
