I just went back and looked at the three photos you posted of cams. What is getting shimed? Almost looked like a rocker arm between cam and valve? Do you have a photo with the cam out? Just has my curiosity peeked.

Fyi this kid is broke so cams arent in the near future. Spending to much preping for road racing but am a gear head by nature so needless to say very interested in whaat you got going on here.

Thank you mace for your hard work.
Shim under the lifter, case of popping out the lifter, dropping in the shim and dropping the lifter back in. That's how the shim has been designed. May not sound like much but had to make sure that it doesn't block the return oil gallery

I'm not sure if you're referring to the cams, but for those who are game are available now

Worse case you may need to put a set of shorter diff gears in the back. Small price to pay for what could sound like an indy car at full noise

when you say "aggressive" and that it'll still be streetable...can you elaborate on that a bit? what do you see gaining vs losing? i know its a vague question but not sure what specific questions to ask.

thanks...

This is likely to occur within 2-4 weeks. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and have it up and running by the weekend

It's a fair question, but one I can definitively answer at the moment. Given the LLT with it's variable valve timing and the right tune will make traditional grinds more tame (streetable). By how much I don't know hopefully a lot LOL

In theory it should technically gain more top end but lose more bottom end. But who know with this setup it may gain everywhere The latter is possible given that cam timing influences injector timing, but can only find out it we practically do it

We'll look at other grinds once we get a bench mark from these cams, as I can't tell you 100% how thy would work at the moment. They may be an epic fail champion (God I hope not!) but we'll soon fine out. Hopefully sooner rather then later, with a positive out come
