I just wonder what full coverage on a Ferrari is for a year, so if I pay 1/30th of the value for my Sky does that mean a $300,000 Ferrari would cost $10,000 a year to insure?

Is that how it works? They're (Gieco) going to charge me the same for a Camaro SS as they are right now on the Cobalt....

Did you give them the same story, daily driver etc? Seems just the value of the car has gone up 10K so the insurance would be higher simply for replacement costs.

Maybe they know you are going to be even MORE responsible behind the wheel of your Camaro.

Yeah -- same story. Identical, actually.

More responsible........yeah.....Actually...I think it's because the demographic of people driving Cobalts makes the car's "probability of accident" WAY higher than that of the Camaro. :(

My plates for the G5 (your cobalt's better looking cousin) are actually $100

MORE a year than my Camaro

or maybe they are hoping he'll drive it less responsible and that they'll just be able to total it after an accident...

that and the recalls for the cobalt as well. maybe you are paying too much for ins on the cobalt as it is....
