they also said they can't wait for the 400hp LS3..
If you compare the two cars, they are "close enough" in price, but one car has a much better chasis and a lot more power but the other has a better interior (pure speculation at this point though). You can't have a world class interior too and keep the price competitive. For me, the interior looks good enough. Yeah, from the pics, the plastics don't look the greatest, especially the plain looking E-brake, but it's good for me. I am not buying a luxury coupe like a G37. The Mustang had better have something going for it to lure customers because the 100+ hp deficit is going to hurt. Once it gets the more powerful engines in a year or two, look for the prices to go up too.

I have 426 reasons why I don't care about the Mustang's interior.

You know..some people rip on the quality of my Cobalt dash....but it's not as bad as they make it. It's better than the competitors dash, IMO.
If we were to base the winner on the dash APPEARANCE only, the Camaro dash wins hands down. I can only hope the that quality matches it.

Ford started putting a lot of cheap plastic chrome all over the place too. They had some more round designs but are back to chop square looking stuff and it looks tacky in the Mustang and even the brand new higher end F150 interior looks cheap chrome tacky IMO*.
There is only one way to tell the comfort and that's a long road test. Even a short test drive normally won't give you the whole picture of how you will feel after a long road trip. |

If you look at the link, they claim they are basing it off of the production version

The only reason they say that is because it has a freaking nav screen in the console.

OK so my Camaro with the ugly interior can chew up your mustang with the best looking interior around..give me a break...well I guess they have to give the Muskrat some kind of an award...or praise... (I also have one of those bumper stickers that says..my kid beat up your honor student)
