I agree with you, after my fuse pull the car seemed to idle better. The car seemed to accelerate better, not shave a second off but a good pedal feel. Heck I went to work sick today, and loved it.. I may not tomorrow... Thanks for the link Matt!!!

Nice to hear that from someone else around the area. You're welcome, and I hope you feel better soon.
I caught wind of a club track event in April... Drag strip in Bremerton. Details are hazy at the moment but I'm sure you can find them. |

So thinking about the Iron Man theme and my car looking for the correct gold someone stated this about the movie..
"In the Avengers, WETA simulated Iron Man's colour as a metal flake suspended in coloured enamel, with a clear coat over the top. Apparently the CGI clear coat was reative with the metallic base coat, meaning in outdoor scenes it started to take on a purple or blue hue. This effect was toned down to an acceptable level, but probably helps explain why the colour of the armor is so tricky to nail down as it is constantly changing!" Thats good!!! as the CRT has a blue / purple hue.. now to find the gold color.... |

So where the blue paint is replace it with the gold... Now sure about the gold spears...
I figure to remove the black vinyl put Stark Enterprise on one side of the hood. Then overlay another layer of vinyl like someone did with the 1LE design, only the stark ent. would run vertical on the hood... |

Like where you are headed.
Have you thought about leaving the hood stock and getting ZL1 rockers to tie the front and back together? You could use your idea of the Stark embossed wrap on the rockers... Also try this link for the paint http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ |

As in any life things change... So for my car the thing that changed is what to do first. I plan next year this time for some engine modifications. My Iron Man theme will have to wait for Headers 1 7/8, Cold Air Intake, Bump Stick and Tune... Then it will be paint and style... That will be the hardest for me. I want it to be subtle and nice... Anyway... Its performance and then show.... Thanks everyone for the recent posts!!!! |

BTW, yes I removed the, "SS" from the front (no picture) and rear of my car. If they don't know its an SS + 1LE then so what... I am sure headers will say SS louder than any badges will... haha...

Love the Iron Man theme! How far are you going to take it cosmetically ?? I'm doing Captain America myself and I'm going all out visually. Not to jack your thread but here's a pic of my car so far
