Daily driver here. 40 miles ONE WAY to work means almost 100 a day. I'm about to break 9,000.

My Lamborghini is a Sunday driver.

***This just in***
The "liar liar pants on fire" comity has asked me to retract my last sentence.
***That is all***

It's my DD as well. I kept my Honda Accord though for bad weather and winter driving. I'm going to really hate putting it away for the winter soon :(

Mine is a DD. However, I kept my '03 Grand Prix around for driving in snow/ice and for a week or two after to let the road salt go away. Won't park my Camaro for winter, just for crappy driving conditions.

Why am I a Phoenix Risen? Am I referring to the car or myself? Both.

I'm not independently wealthy and have other bad habits. Mine is a daily driver; however, that said, I do have a home office and drive relatively low mileage, everything considered.

DD for me too!
Granted I commute via train to work daily, but nights/weekends and rain and snow, it's my car!

Your not insane if you buy it as a daily driver, it is really one FUN car to drive! Only reason i don't use mine as a daily driver is because i don't trust parking it anywhere in public.

I agree. My last 3 were daily drivers winter and all. We get about 80 inches of snow in the winter around here. My last Camaro was a 2002 SS with the asr traction control. I didn't do much good in the snow. I had it explained to me that driving an SS is the snow is about as much fun as riding my Harley in the rain. The decision maker for me was the price of the winter tires and rims. For about the same money as the wheels, I bought a 2001 Buick Century to use in the snow. Our salted roads eat cars for dinner in the winter and I love this car too much to turn it into a beater.
