If I were you I'd be more concerned with why she is a vegetarian. If she thinks it's healthier that's OK. If she thinks we exploit cows and chickens or she exudes an I'm better than people who choose to eat meat attitude, order a rare steak, grab her by the hair, rub her face in said steak, then make her watch as you eat it with your bare hands. If she's hot, order a side salad too. I recommend you avoid women who are overly concerned with what you drive for what ever reason. And by avoid I mean sleep with but don't date.
And if she has a problem with the V8 mention it will probably get better gas mileage than whatever car her parents bought her. Happy hunting. |

Can't believe you guys missed it; if you're getting the L99 Automatic, its "only" 6.0L. You can tell her that you were going to get the 6.2L engine, but this was the "greener" option. Show her the fuel economy numbers; data doesn't lie!

My girlfriend try to make environmentally correct choices and does not understand why I need the v8...well first off it will get better gas mileage than my pickup gets. I average 16 mpg so auto matically I am gonna gain 6-8 mpg. I am just trying to do my part!!!

I dated a vegetarian before... i ate a burger right in front of her she really didn't care her main concern was that she didn't want me to watch her eat... main thing is just to talk things over with her first and be open... and good luck finding a place that will accomidate both of your tastes

I say, if she doesn't force anything on you, or make you feel bad for being who you are, there's nothing to worry about. I'm all for being enviornmentally responsible but it's my understanding that we have no concrete proof that WE are causing warming, let alone the planet actually getting warmer. Although, there are a lot of glaciers and what-not that are melting, so... Please keep the political comments respectful. We're getting close to having a problem, although this thread started out loaded. Please keep this mind; otherwise...

If the first couple comments don't get a response out of her, tell her that your license plate is going to be "GBLWMR" (Global Warmer).....that ought to get her!
And not eating meat.....how could you even waste your time with her!! |
