Our cars do respond noticeably with weather changes and the heat you are in will kill the power!! In 55-65 degrees the offline torque is better then 70-75 degrees and 80 is good but less and 90 is as hot as its been here and response is down more.I to have intake(modded airaid), exhaust and shorties on Friday and these definetly will help keep the power up when hot out and killer when colder.

Temp hasn't mattered here in Phoenix. There is a huge difference between D and M. Instant response in M.

I absolutely disagree. Did you have your car in the winter or spring? My car was definitely more responsive in 70 degree weather than it is in 110.

I actually have all the numbers for the stuff you listed... well most of it

These are all stock numbers, and temperature was 61 degrees.

TC/SC off S mode - 5.44 Seconds
TC/SC on S mode - 5.62 Seconds
TC/SC on D mode - 6.23 Seconds
TC/SC off M mode - 7.40 Seconds LOL

Yeah, I suck at shifting lol... But S mode is by far the best... also best response. D just doesnt shift properly at high RPM. Feels like it shifts slower, and the throttle response is a bit laggier. I can no longer list anymore stock numbers, I have the Injen CAI installed now. Best time with Injen is 5.42 seconds.

As for your lag... I get that sometimes, but Im not sure why either... it can be the same temperature. For example, today, when i was driving, the car felt so buttery smooth... beats me though.

How did you get those numbers? 5.44 seconds seems WAY too fast for a stock V6. I think your instruments may be a little...optimistic......what is it that you are using?

I have noticed I get much better launch with 50% throttle then roll into wot. Its odd, you would think the fancy computer would be able to optimize the launch if you just stab the peddle like it stole something from you.

Here is another odd thing, when driving on the highway and I stab the peddle to wot I can feel the car nose down before the gears shift and the engine speed picks up.

Anyone else?

As said above, I also disagree. Car obviously runs worse in hot temps.....especially when the stock intake is heat soaked.

Take your car out on a 80 degree or so day and run her pretty good. Then park and let her sit for 10 mins (soakin up that engine heat) then try her again. You should notice a "softer" power.

If you are at 90 degrees and over I agree. You will never be as fast or as responsive from then on!! All cars run better with cooler air and the computer will take out timing at I think over 88 degrees, not to metion at over 210 degrees water temp. Also 87 octane always pulls timing compared to 91+. all this for your engines protection as it gets closer to detonation in hotter temps with our 11.3/1 c.r. When my car is cool in the morning, 65 degrees out and water temp at 180 the car takes of from a stop as if it had the torque of my ls1!!! Quit amazing and suprising! But as the car got to operating temp of 200 the response decreased to "normal"

Me too, I believe what feel here is that the auto takes out about 8 degrees or so of timing between shifts to soften the blow to the trans. Then after its in the next gear restores back the 8 degrees.

Yeah, im using Dashhawk, other factors i should mention for my times though. I think are worth considering, I weight 130lbs and I have quarter tank of gas for those runs. Also, spare tire and jack are taken out.

V6 is rated at a 5.6 seconds... i dont think 5.44 seems that optimistic. =p We are talking milliseconds here, a difference in launching techniques can change the outcome. Especially for such a short run like the 0-60 tests

DevilKnight...I don't know about winter, I haven't had it that long, but on a cool day in CA, I noticed no real difference.
