rolnslo, did you really find one at HEB? This year? I don't think any of the stores have them in stock any more. They originally sold in stores for $79.99. They ran out end of last year. I'll check the HEB right by my house out of curiosity.
Yeah, they had 2 yellow and 1 red when I was there a week and a half ago. I'll swing by on the way home and see if there are any left.

The Xmas ornaments and I believe the keychains are Hot Wheels cars that the guy has drilled holes in and glued in loops. He didn't even clean them up, so beware.

Just got a follow-up from Albert (in Holland) says he has ordered a similar car and it cost $89 to ship there... says he will be ok if under $100 to ship. Wow and some of you freaking out over $29.50 for a big 17lb box.

We don't live in Holland...

I think you'd be better off listing like 30.00 for the car and 15 for shipping.
instead of 30 dollars for shipping which most people just won't pay

If you don't want to buy it, move along.
No point in continuing any argument over shipping.

WELL SON OF A *****....I had an entire paragraph typed up and accidentally lost it all!!

FIRST OFF...IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BUY, DON'T! Let someone else who wants it buy it. For crying out loud! Have any of you checked out the size of the box this thing comes in?

This is NOT a small car! Shipping is NOT cheap for this car! Has anyone checked shipping on this before you made up your minds that he was trying to rip anyone off? I personally looked for this car last year online since the $80 price tag from Walmart was too high. Luckily, they cut the prices down to $40 towards Christmas. I looked online....they were all shipping for $30-$40 due to the size of the shipped box. Really, it was like 3 to 4 feet long.

That was why I didn't want to buy it online last year. But, I got lucky with Walmarts promotion (since they are a large company and have the ability to drastically cut prices) and bought it online when the shipping was .46 cents or something like that.

Guys, IMO, there is nothing wrong with his shipping...if you don't want to buy it don't buy it. The proper price sold will probably be reflected in the final price that it sells for. Shoot...I live in San Antonio just north of him and wouldn't mind picking up a new one to mess around with. The other one I have is cracked, scratched, broken pieces...normal stuff that happens when you have fun with something!

I thought those Christmas ornaments were being sold in stores as well...hmmm...must be my imagination?

and....if I read correctly, he has 461 perfectly 100% feedback replies. I think that says something about the seller.

Here's the original thread over the 1/6th

It's ok, happens on other forums

And I have to comment on the shipping of that LARGE RC Camaro....it's just as mentioned, it's in a very large box. As a seller on eBay, I have to admit shipping large items like that can be expensive...also finding a box and packing material to get it out....he is charging an appropriate price IMO. Especially via UPS....
