A Camaro in any color is the right decision!!! I went back and worth with IOM and black myself! Black just screams "Bad Ass", and the IOM screams "Look at me"! In the end....Blowin' down the road in any Camaro will have people "lookin' at the bad ass"!!

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes. So what are you guys thinking for mods? I am tinting the windows and installing a subwoofer the first few days that I get it.

From the black stripes on in my signature block is what I have sitting in the garage wait for install! Window tint also! 35% is the law in CT, what's it in Cali?

We are not supposed to tint the driver and passanger door windows and the windshield. Other than those windows there is no rules. I will probably go with a medium tint on the passanger and driver doors and then I will black it out on the rest of the windows. I did it to my last car and never got a ticket.

So.Cal certainly gets enough sun that med-dark tint is the way to go. I think 35% is the start of the "medium" range. Here in New England we're not as laid back as you Cali boys! Our summers are short (too short) so we don't see a lot of that round, hot thing in the sky! We have to drive hard/fast/crazy cause we need to cram our summer enjoyment into 3 months!! No time to waste!

any particular reason you went with the S-Type instead of the ATAK system? I'm a little torn right now.

My thought was that the ATAK might be too loud. I'm not doing headers (at this point) so my second thought was it might not be that bad. I settled on the S-Type and I'm hoping it's nice! I read a lot of + about S-Type and a lot of + about ATAK, so it was a tough choice! I can always take it off, sell it and make the step up!

After ordering on 08/24/2010, I've finally made it to the "3300" club with a TPW the week of 10/25. This will be my second Camaro. The first was a college graduation gift from my Dad; a 1985 Z28 with LB9 and automatic!

We're keeping our fingers crossed for a few warm sunny days in November so we can enjoy the new ride before putting her in hibernation for the winter! Come on global warming!!!!!!!! LOL.

TOO LOUD?!? How could you say such a thing?! haha, I'm really torn between the S-Type and ATAK. I'll be adding american racing headers at some point. I wish I could hear both systems in person before i made the decision.

Hey Magnum welcome to the waiting room! This will actually be my first Camaro. I had a 70 Nova SS, 86 Monte SS, but no Camaro... until now (or TPW 10/25)! I test drove a 2010 for about 3 hoursback in August... The dealer almost had to pry my ass out of the drivers seat! I'm dying to get my hands on this car. Like you, I'm gonna hibernate her! At least that will give me "mod" time before the big spring reveal!!!!
