Huggerorange73, the cam that you have in your car says that it is to be used with the fast intake....do you have the fast intake ?

I had this exact cam before i went to a stroker engine. that cam made very good power it made 465rwhp/430rwtq (with CAI, Full Exhaust,&stock heads). It did surge fairly often it wasnt to fun to drive in cruising speeds. When i decided to do a stroker engine i specificly asked him to make it more "streetable" and he hit right on the money! These are my specs

LS3 Stroker 416 by HKE racing engines
11:1 Compression
Duration @.050" 231/243 at 115 LSA with a lift of 598/624
West Coast Cylinder Heads Stg. 2 CNC Porting
it made 510rwhp/485rwtq
It drives like "STOCK" sounds like a monster. Alot of guys get hung up on the peak numbers and thats not the only importan thing to consider. I compared my dyno shet to another persons with the same build but with a bigger cam and i made more horsepower by 30-40 horsepower and torque up to 5500 rpms. So do you research and ask the car owners with cams and get there opinion not only the shops. Good luck!

On LS1/2 it requires a FAST, with an LS3 it works perfect with the OEM intake!

Brandon do you have any vids/sounds of this cam? How much? You say around 45-50 HP, is that an average aftermarket cam gain for this type of cam?
