Just installed my CAI Intake, just ordered the same bottle, waiting for it to arrive. It looks much better than the bag.

would you see some gains from just removing or relocating the washer bottle? I would think you would

I have CAI Inc intake and want to install a ADM race scoop. Can I just get rid of the washer bottle all together(delete it). I dont daily drive my car.... only in good weather and I wipe it down before I take it out.

Don't really need windshield washer fluid any ways. If its raining the water and wipers will clean the windshield. Plus I love using Rain-X on all the cars and don't even use the freakin wipers.

I dont know if any of you have looked into it however a windsheild washer bottle/bracket from a 69 Camaro will mount on the drivers side of the 2010 perfectly.
All you have to do is remove the squirter/motor from the original bottle then mount it down below the car some how in the area where it was located at the factory and run a hose from the end that normally goes into the Factory bottle up to either the bottle you use or even a Washer fluid bag. I recently did this to a friends car and used a 69 washer bottle and bracket. After we finished his I thought about it by using a 69 RS bracket it would probably mount on the side of you CAI very easily and look clean as well. just as ADM told me use some Vaccum hose ( same thing the factory uses ) going up to the bottle from down below. |
