Not at all here. This isn't my first Camaro and they have really took their time with this one so I'm not expecting anything to go wrong with it at all.

I bought the first year redesigned 2005 Mustang, and after almost 4 years and 37K miles, it still has not been back to the dealer for a single problem.

There were some minor TSBs (technical service bulletins) that affected some cars - which means if you wanted them fixed for free, any dealership would do it, but none of the problems were widespread enough or critical enough to require a recall - and I didn't have any of these problems.

I am totally convinced now that the quality problems for U.S. automakers is a thing of the past. U.S. cars are now on par with foreign cars as far as quality.

I believe this used to be the case before the 1990's. There is so much competition now that car manufacturers have to make sure they work out all of the kinks before production starts to remain competitive.

They have been testing this car for three years. There better not be anything wrong with it. Engines and transmissions are not new so I don't see any problems in that area. Suspension is supposedly incredibly tuned. Shouldn't have many problems.

The thought crossed my mind, it was denied, and then I put down my deposit!

I would ABSOLUTLEY buy a 2010 Camaro with not one worry.

I trust Scott when he has said how much time and effort has been put into the new Camaro.

I'm slightly concerned about my first year model car, but only because it's the convertible and that adds a lot more that can go wrong (leaky roofs suck).

But in general I agree with the majority here...I really think they got this one down.

I bought the first year Tahoe (2007) and had not a single problem with it in 42,000 miles. Just bought a new Escalade ESV for a tow vehicle or I would still have it. NOT A SINGLE ISSUE besides maintenance and normal wear items. Drove like an X5 4.8I or better. We have the first year Buick Enclave. No issues. GM has their $&*! together guys and gals - I would not be worried about the first year Camaro being an issue at all.

The only worry I have with the first year Camaro is if it will be made. I am really worried about the financial situation they are in. Having said that, I guess that I can't be tooooo concerned I did order.

If there are problems, I think they will be very small or minor. GM cannot afford to have problems with the Camaro. If they did it would be a total disaster, as they already are standing on thin ice with their financial situation.

There will probably be some issues because its a brand new model but isn't as big of a deal as it used to be. All new cars are much more reliable than they used to be. Also, it has been mentioned that many of the components have been borrowed from other cars in GM's lineup. And besides, there is always the warranty for any problems that do pop up.

I hope it's better than the 08 Accord I bought my wife. As you may know the 08 is the 8th generation Accord. Based on Honda's bullet proof reputation I felt safe and comfortable buying their 1st year next gen Accord.

It's been in the shop 3 times for various rattles and electrical gremlins. I hope GM's build quality is better than Honda's. BTW go visit some of the Accord forums and you'll see post after post about various bugs.
