To the OP, I'm having the same issue! My wife isn't due until July and we were wondering the same thing! We've been looking at different seats and what not as well. My ride is my DD and my wife's is an Altima coupe. Needless to say things are going to be a little tight!

Camaro is a family car!
We have a peg perego infant seat in ours...fits with no problem! I'm 5'9" and I have to slide the passenger seat up a tad to get in when we travel as a family but we've been taking our son on cruises with the camaro club since he was 3 months! Definitely check dimensions, just because one fits doesn't mean the next will.

Make sure you get one that has a base that stays in the seat. That way you do not have to get in the back to strap them in.

Looks like a car seat is in my near future. Doing some research, maybe I'll keep the car. We have an suv already. I definitely want the base setup for both vehicles.

The tough part is gettin' the baby seat at the correct height and angle so the little guy can operate the floor pedals with the necessary extensions as well as the steering wheel and shift lever.
A good baby is always worth the mods. Don't forget to attach a bumper sticker that states: BABY DRIVING.

Could always put the rear facing seat in the middle. I did that in my Camry (I seem to remember we had to by law?). My son is 3 now, almost 4. He is in a booster seat now, but we've had no issues with the forward facing seat or the booster. I have it behind the passenger seat because I'm 6'-1" and there is no room behind me.

Ah, kids and sports cars. Once you have kids the toys have got to go. Expect to see you back on the board in about 20 years after the kids are grown. Face the music, you have a future in SUV's and mini-vans. Even if you could shoe-horn a child seat into a Camaro, what are you going to do with the diaper bags, formula, stroller, jumpy seat, toys etc, etc? Hope you have leather as spit up formula and leaking diapers stinks bad on cloth upholstery.
The rear facing infant seats take up a lot of room. To put one in a Camaro, you will need to adjust the passenger seat forward. |

A few of my friends have mini vans and they often speak to the comfort and convenience. I'm having a hard time with that one, I rather get a CUV before I go that route as of now. I guess we'll see soon enough.
And yes i have leather, but i'm hoping i can keep my car clean... wishful thinking.

Unless you get some crazy bad barfer or something it's not hard to keep your car clean.
Here's the secret: clean it. Seriously, too many people are lazy and let it go and let it go until the pile of crap in their cars is bigger than they are. Oh, and no food. We have a 19 month old and his carseat fits just fine (forward facing Britax Marathon). I do take his shoes off so he can't kick the seat in front of him with them. Oh, and 95% of the time he rides in the SUV, not the Camaro, so that helps. ![]() Not sure if we had just one car it'd be a Camaro, but it's far from impossible.
