most are just retarded, there are laws about what you can and can't do so cars. IE inspection items ( there's always ways around that ), driving with nitrous hooked up and full (in some states) but don't think I've ever heard about fast cars being illegal….

"Fast" isn't illegal.

Not being "emissions legal" is another thing.

I car built for the race track is held to different standards than a car built for the highway.

We don't have to listen to CRAP like that here in Ky. IF someone did say that to me I'd just set my LINE LOCK AND NAIL IT TO THE FLOOR FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AND LET THE CAR GET HALF COCKED SIDEWAYS AS I LEFT! LOL!!!!! I'm sure they'd get the point.

Besides Ky is know for their tobacco crop so a lot of people in this state smoke. Big difference in attitude between CA and some other states like KY.

'Sheeple' - dumb and groupthink compliant; like sheep?
or ''Sheaple' - Sh.t-head people...
...seems to fit either way.

If you haven't guessed, Ca is from another planet. Every two years I get a nice letter from the state asking me to crush and destroy my '86 Monte Carlo. Babies, elderly, tree huggers and those with breathing problems would very much appreciate it if I got rid of my pollution belching machine.
It's with great embarrassment to say I live here.
BTW, the state of Ca can have my Monte after they remove it from my cold, dead fingers.
I also think this moronic ignorance is the basis of some of the "keyed" stories we see frequently. Some idjuts think that by driving a fast car you must be destroying the planet. Keying your car is their way of expressing to you their displeasure over your choice of car.

I still get the occasional random offer in the mail to buy my 1977 Silverado for $500......... yeah, right. Low-end Blue Book is $1500, and mine is Top-end or better.

Thanks dude! If only more people thought the way you do... too many people here already - and that's only counting the legal citizens.

Nope, these guys ain't tree huggers.

Surprisingly, the quizzical crowd that believe that fast cars are illegal are not in any way ecologically conscious. They are all recent immigrants or the offspring of first generation immigrants. Most of them expressed their concerns to me in Spanish, the common tongue here in Fontana.

This is from two different people commenting on my completely stock car........
They must be prius owners. Prius owners think they are god's gift to earth. Their Nickel batteries alone would create more pollution over the years than any of our Camaros. Gotta love the morons.
