Its in your rules, and I know you can't be everywhere at once. However, you now leave it up to the seller to constantly bug you to remove all threads that are not questiosn to the OP. That is practially every post to every thread in the classified forum, especially in the private Autos for Sale forum. I don't think anyone has ever sold a car there.

May I suggest a choice? Only for the Autos for Sale by members forum... allow a poster the choice of using the existing Autos for Sale or the new Autos for Sale (with no posting other than OP). I'm willing to bet that every seller will choose the locked down forum.
Wouldn't that cause a built-in system of "thread crapping"
If the Op is allowed to bump as much as they want?
We've never had anyone complain to us or ask us to remove post not relevant to selling the item.

Note: We are just bantering here. I mean no ill will.

I see your point, andf I am surprised at this. However, I am sure there are folks don't even try to sell their car here because of the probability that someone (all it takes is one to ruin a car-for-sale post) to state that that is not the best deal in the world. That person was not interested in buying the car. You practially have to give the car away to gurantee that no one will crap on your thread.

As for self bumping, you can set limits. One bump a day max, etc. We're talkling about a $30,000 purchase, nit should be treated differently from the small stuff.

I just realized that a person selling their Camaro is on the way out of the site and their 'for sale' post may be their last. In this regard, maybe they are treated as lesser members compared to a guy selling a CAI. I dunno.

Anyway, thanks for considering/
