Exactly. And me being SLP Public Enemy #1 lol It being called ZL1 is nirvana lol. The GM is far better in every way. But of course it would be. Maybe SLP can move onto SLP Aveos lol.

I don't think you can really compare the two, after just seeing the SLP car at the Philly car show, I can say it was a vast improvement over what they brought last year. 750 hp, upgraded suspension, brakes, wheels and tires and all the interior and exterior mods add up to a killer car but that all comes at a steep price, 80,000 plus the cost of an SS!!. GM,s ZL1 will likely be half that amount.

I'm a Chevy guy (yeah i know i drive a dodge for work) and I have to take GM's version mainly because of the added hardware to compliment the LSA plus the ZL1's suspension will always beat out SLP's which is mostly bolt ons

GM.
I love SLP, but IMO, GM's just looks so much meaner.

Don't Like it? Suggit.

The SLP version looks great, but it looks exactly like what it IS. A suped-up SS.
The ZL1 is a different model entirely, and as such should be easily discernible from all other models.

Well isnt SLP an aftermarket company to begin with? It makes sense that they are using aftermarket parts. So i think those are kind of dumb reasons to put down their Zl1 versions......
My vote goes to SLP, im just not digging the GM version that much right now. Just looks really odd to me right now for some reason lol EDIT: Plus the wheels on the SLP car kind of help it out even more for me lol I dont really care for the wheels on the GM car or even the 2010/11's wheels all that much.

I give a slight edge to SLP. Wheels and hood are a toss up. Front end with the heritage grill and one set of fog lights wins it for SLP.
edit: I also think SLP blacks out the area between the tailights ala the old big block cars, so extra points for them. The look of the exhaust goes to GM though. SLPs exhaust just looks too huge. Also extra points for SLPs blue bow tie. Last edited by detltu; 02-11-2011 at 09:57 AM. |

Real ZL1 all the way, hands-down.
I'm sorry, SLP, I'm a fan -- but it looks aftermarket, because it IS aftermarket. Nothing wrong with that...just not my taste. |

I'm really suprised the voting is this close. Thought GM would have an overwhelming lead. Like both cars, but GM's ZL1 looks like it was built with a purpose. Love the rims and would like to see it with the heritage grill, although its awesome just the way it is.
