I've had my M6 for 13 months, and 27,000 miles, zero clutch issues.

I've had mine for about 11 months without any issues. I wouldn't consider myself one of the "lucky ones" as much as i consider myself not one of the unlucky ones. For every complaint/issue you read about, there are many many more without issue. I say just get what you want and let the warranty take care of whatever problems come about. You have 5 years/100,000 miles of coverage for the powertrain.

I've never had any real "issues" with the clutch sticking - but I keep wondering if it will happen at some point. I do accelerate hard a LOT of the time.

just found your site so glad too.i have the 2010 camaro ss only 3000 miles the clutch would slip so i took nit to the local dealer thry were shocked (huh never heard of any new camaros having clutch trouble) now i know they were filling me good and full of you know what! i called general motors they said take it to the dealer and have it torn apart if its there prob it would b fixed but more than likely it was my driving.this is the first new car i have ever bought im 40 yrs old i DID NOT BEAT THIS THING but looks like im not the only one general motors has disapointed.my wife has the new mustang way more miles not one single problem cant help but wonder if i should be loyal to a brand that isnt loyal back at least be honest about the problem. dissapointing to spend my hard earned money and have a brand new car i cant count on

yes i agree you have to pay to play but dont you agree they build this big hp car and brag up all the tests so you spend all that money on it just to take it home and have to install a new clutch. something is very wrong with that .if you had a brand new home built and 1 month after moving in this (brand new) home have to put a new roof on all at your expense im thinking you would not be happy if your contractor told u you have to pay to play.

GM wouldn't say "you have to pay to play", they'd say "operating as designed" or "normal wear and tear"

I do a lot of very aggressive driving, as I race mine a lot (autocross).

I have changed most of the clutch system out. I run the LPE dual disc clutch, added a clutch return spring to the pedal, a seperate clutch reservoir, updraded the fluid.

I don't have any clutch problems anymore.
