I suppose. Id guess a nice aftermarket bumper + paint job (unless it already came with one) would be about $350. Id check it out before you decide. But yeah if the SS one is $300 painted thats a good deal.

Cheap ebay fiberglass bumpers are that price. Nice quality aftermarket ones are more like a grand or more.

IMO The only way he would be posing by having the SS bumper is if he left the SS badges on it. I don't see anything wrong with wanting the SS bumper, sans badges that is....
