The interior has been reviewed about 125,000 times by new owners who bought it instead of a Mustang. End of discussion.

I 100% love it and wouldn't change a thing. the car feels very solid. I honestly like the plastic material more than the soft touch material a lot of cars are getting.

2. Of course the back seat isn't roomy, it's a 2+2 Camaro, not a 4 door sedan. 3. The dash and everything else is fine, I love my car! |

Passenger side of dash kind of boring and I wish they would not of used such a hard plastic. It scratchs and mars easily.

Interior is perfect for me (6'1", 240). The seats are comfy. The plastics on the interior are better than mustang, the leather is worse (cheap). I love the center console controls, and the steering wheel is fine by me (not sure what the fuss is about). Shift knob was too big but I switched to Hurst anyways, so not an issue.
I only have three gripes: - the cup holder makes shifting tough with a drink in place (the Hurst fixed this somewhat) - the analog speedo is useless (luckily there is a digital speedo as a backup) - passenger's seat is too low.

personally I like the interior. I find nothing to complain about. if there was one thing I would change it would have been the stereo. I think they should design these cars so it isnt so dificult to change out the stereo. they should come equipped with a double din size radio so if you want to upgrade it that it isnt such a hassle.

I never test drove a Camaro before ordering mine, which did scare the hell out of me..
I was coming from a Suburban to a Camaro, so yes, I was concerned about room and ride quality. But I've got to tell you, I slipped into the Camaro like putting on a fine leather glove. I was impressed with the comfort and surprisingly the room!M |

This is my 7th Camaro and the most comfortable by far.............. The back seat is limited to smaller adults on short trips. A big plus is that they fold down so it really helps with luggage for short get away trips.
The interior is very functional and clean. I remember one tread on this that you have to realize the materials used on the dash and doors has to survive 40+ years so it has to be durable. Very few of these cars won't be drivable in 40 years. |

One thing to note, if you get a 1LT or 1SS, you will have cloth instead of the grey plastic panels - even on your dash. Cloth on the dash is something unique which I've never seen on another car, ever.

Also unique is that the 2SS/2LT have the back-lit door panels. I think they did a great job on the interior.

My biggest gripe about the interior is the visor being useless 99% of the time. Otherwise, I'm happy. Love the seats, the fit, the wheel, the ride, and who cares about the back seat. Turbo the Pom is the only one who rides back there and it's plenty big enough for him.

It's all subjective, really, as far as looks are concerned. In my opinion, the seats are some of the most comfortable I've ever sat in. The steering wheel is perfect for my hand size too. Leg room and head room is sufficient when the seat is adjusted for you. I like to sit a little closer to the steering wheel, only because my arms get tired when they're straight out lol. This gives a back seat passenger a little more room. I don't know about anyone else, but I tried sitting in the back and I absolutely could not fit. I'm 6'2" and 250lbs. I have to practically curl up in a ball to sit there, if I had to anyway.

IMO....i think the interior of the 2ss is just fine. if your 6-2 and mass in over 200 the back seat will be cramped......lol i put my kids friend who meets that bill back there all the time. its not a rolls royce if thats what u r looking for :( .........you can see your mph in three different places and rpm's in two at any one time. CC button is great especially in speed trap known areas. i have no compliants + i'm the driver who gets to play with all the toys
