alssiri, How did you get this fixed? Did you have to remove the assembly or where you able to fit it back on and loctite it?

Mine happened last night however its dangling but still in the drilled whole. Just not connected to anything.

Thanks

You can replace the assembly on the car if your allen wrench is long enough. Before you take anything apart, make sure the allen screw is still in the cap.

I think the set screw is still in the assembly. I think just the extender fell off the set screw.

Hopefully the alignment shop will have a long allen wrench.

1. Loosen the set screw on the cable side of the cap that has fallen off.
2. Remove the set screw fro the adjuster side of the cap.
3. LocTite the adjustment screw and set the cap to the adjusting knob. Make sure it is tight.
4. LocTite the set screw for the cable side and insert it into the cap.
5. Thread the cable back into position.
6. Tighten the set screw.

We remove the cable to make it easier to re-attach the cap. If you can re-attach the cap without removing the cable you have made life easier.
