I see what the problem is...

The HID and relay wires you got are different than mine, that said, the principles remain the same. The "original hid kit trigger wires" are meant to be bridge wires between the wires in the EE and the relay. The blue (positive) and black (ground) plug inside the EE should be connected with the two thin blades on the "original hid kit trigger wires" and then it's yellow female end plugs into the relay's spade connectors. The factory harness plugs into the EE external plug as normal.

You only need one of these connections, on either the driver or passenger side.

Alternatively, you can continue doing what you did with the cutting, which is basically an attempt to skip using the "original hid kit trigger wires" by replacing the relay's spade connectors with the thin blades and then plugging the relay directly to the blue and black female plug inside the EE. However, I feel this is too much work and involves unnecessary cutting and splicing.

Hope this helps.

Cool. The relay harness replaces the orig hid connectors with the thin blades {in pic they are just sitting ontop of ballasts} that plug into the ballasts.
As each ballast needs a connection with the relay.

Since the relay trigger had wide spades and i was not going to need the other two wires i just cut of one end to use the thin blades to go into the ee internal h9 blk/blue plug. You can see the connection is made in the pic above.

So its blk to blk and red to blue as i have it in pic?

If so i'm cool and will plug in the factory to ee ext on both sides and test it out!

Yup, you got it! By the way, the only issue I had when installing my relay was finding a good spot for the ground wire. I ended up connecting it to the metal rod that jumper cable uses.

I recently had HID's installed in my Eagle eyes and I am getting some flickering in the bulbs! Also they seem to come on when they want to! I dint install a relay! Is this the reason I am having these problems? Thanks in advance!

Well from everything I have read the flickering is caused by the daytime running lights. The low power output is not liked by hid , they want to be on full or off. The relay solves this by connecting to battery for power rather than the factory halogen bulb socket.

I narrowed it to my relay in my harness actually being shot as far as my install goes.

Well I still cannot get my hids to work with the relay I have. Without it I have no problem getting lights going. I thought the relay module was toast but after swapping it with a new one, same thing no power to ballasts :( I'm going to get a new harness after work at a performance shop and hope it solves my problem.

Now for you I would order from where you bought your hid kit from.Just be sure it matches your kit ie: single beam or bi-xenon.
