Eagle Eyes HID wiring help

Ok so light assemblies with hid bulbs are installed, ballasts mounted and relay wiring harness ran. The pos/neg battery connections have not been made yet. So I understand I will be using only the driver side eagle eyes headlight plug to connect the trigger wires from hid relay.

But....which is pos/neg on the ee plug? I have blue/ black directly at plug and then another black wire with a female spade connector spliced in rt behind same plug to the black wire.

So from relay I have red/black so I know which is pos/neg but no idea on ee plug. Help please.

Well I just re-read erk's thread on the ee and hid install. To say I'm more confused is an understatement! Lol

First do I not use the factory harness headlight plugs dr/pass at all? In his thread it shows a pic of the hid trigger wires being connected to the 3 wire (blue/blk/white) ee plug. I was thinking I needed to connect that ee plug into the factory plug on both sides and then use just the driver side ee 2 pin connector to hook up relays trigger wires?

Still hope someone can help me out tho with the correct wiring of my Eagle Eyes x3 Halos

Okay, all the wiring is going to be made outside of your EE's. Hook up you relay to your ballast and the side with the fuse to your factory harness. Once your done, remove the halogen bulbs from your EE's. You are not going to mess with any of the wiring inside the EE's. Once you remove your halogen bulb, cut a hole on the rubber part of the seal for your eagle eyes where that blue/white/black plug comes out that connects to your factory harness if you were to still be using the halogens. Pull your ends of the HID bulbs through the rubber and insert the HID bulb in. Once in, seal the rubber part and connect the HID plugs to your ballast. There should be one more cable that needs to be plugged in. This cable is the control for your high beams. It will plug into that connector I was talking about from you EE's with the blue/white/black that connects to your factory harness. Read post #56 as it shows how you plug it in

Make sure your groundings are and your done. Hope it works out for your.

Also make sure you have an H13 Bi-Xenon Relay Harness and your bulbs are H9.

That is the kit I have above and I also bought after the fact the relay to go with it.
It is a single high beam h9 bulb. As the eagle eyes has a shield to control high/low, this was what I read I needed.

Only diff I see is my relay has 2 spade connectors red/black wires to hook that ee plug in your picture. I see it going to only the blk/white pins on the plug. So is it blk/blk and red/white?

I also don't understand how if I leave the factory plugs on left/right of car unplugged and out of the equation and only plug in main lwr bumper connector that gives me lighting control with cars switches? That main plug will only give me sidemarker/turn signal connections correct?

Sorry I'm just unsure with only connecting 2 wires from relay to the ee plug how that will talk to the interior car switches. So when I flick highs on in car it reacts properly.

According to that link I don't see it saying that it comes with a relay harness. You need to purchase one and it needs to be H13 so that it can connect to your factory harness.

I have bought a relay harness:http://www.vvme.com/relay-harness-fo....html?cPath=20

When you say the relay needs to connect to the factory harness are you referring to the connection you made from the harness to the two pins on the ee connector? Or are you meaning there should be a relay connector that will plug into the factory harness plug? If so my relay only has the ballast connectionsx2, bulbx2, pos/neg battery, and trigger wire spade connectors.

only diff is it has 2 thin spade connectors for the trigger wires which I assume I will need to adapt to plug into that ee connector on the black/ white pins?

So do I need to connect the factory headlight plug on the pass side to the eagle eye connector? If I was not installing a hid kit and just using the halogen h9 bulbs I would be connecting both sides of factory plugs to the ee connector outside the housing correct?

It's been a while since I did it, but the realy you bought is fine. It's the same I have.

The factory harness plugs into the EE plug as normal. Inside the housing, you connect the factory wires to the HID kit wires. This is the trigger connection and will power the HIDs normally at night.

Now with the realy, the stand alone headlights plug goes inbetween the two wire shown with yellow arrows below since you are already connected to the factory harness inside the EE housing. On the other side, I have the factory harness pluged into the EE as normal even though it serves no purpose. It's just better than letting it hang.

Thx for responding I'm at work right now and this has been gnawing at me bad. Car is all ripped apart on jacks in garage :(

The relay I have that has the battery terminal connections on it replaces the 2 short wires that plug into the ballast and have the thin spade connectors on them.

So the relay I have plugged into each ballast along with the hid bulbs connections made. The trigger wire came spliced into relay with normal square spade connectors so I need to change those to the thin ones and plug them into the h9 two prong eagle eyes connector inside the light housing on the driver side only. Then plug both ext ee plugs to factory plugs(realizing only one is needed).Correct?

So the relay is to provide direct battery power. The trigger wires are for activating the internal hi/low shield to raise/lwr and the one ee ext connector to factory plug is to get the command from switches in car to lights?

I just want to be sure I do this correct as I have bad luck with electrical things Also I was confused after seeing that erk had his trigger wires in the ext ee connector and not the internal h9 one nor the factory plugs connected to the ext ee connector :(

Thankyou for being patient and helping me!

This might be easier if you post pics to make sure we are all on the same page!

I will post pics soon as I get home. Anyways on the relay harness are 2 wires with just spade connectors on them. They are to replace the two wires that came with hid kit that plug into each ballast(used to connect to oem bulb socket) I call them trigger wires if that's the proper term. I have all my pics at home and will post for you.

Thanks again for the help!
