LOL. It could help with that as well, but it's mainly to help ease the screwing they are giving folks for the price of the studs.

I have spent the last 2 months dumping fist fulls of cash into my car. I am a business owner so I am well aware of "supply and demand". Our cars are getting beat to hell by the stigma of "special made parts" because they are new to the aftermarket world. I am so calling BS on this one.

I was on the search for longer wheel studs for the rear of my car. So I did the usual thing and Googled them. I came across a familiar company name I learned of from this forum. I was uncertain if their listed price was for all 4 wheels or just one based on the price. I emailed them yesterday morning and got my response a few minutes ago. Their price for 5 wheel studs was just over 80 bucks. SERIOUSLY?!? 17 dollars a piece??? Are these magical wheels stud that will push me into the single digits?

I understand profit all to well but this is flat out greed!! All this does is rip off people that can afford but don't know any better and the guys who are a little smarter or even budget minded buy import. I spent a long time lurking before I every signed up on this forum. I have spent many hours reading. So I am aware of all the venders who bash imported goods.

I am all about buying Americans goods and supporting our economy within... but I will not be ripped off doing so.
Also remember the value of the dollar has dropped a bunch since 2000, and began dropping even faster in 2009 when the government started printing $1.65 trillion extra to cover bailouts of GM/UAW, public sector unions, banks, and other friends of the democrat party.

When the dollar is replaced as the worlds reserve currency, we're all in for a very rude awakening. Our lifestyles will revert back to the 1970's.
