The Rosso's are shit, I had them on my 300 hp Cobalt SS/SC and they wore fast

super car tires... this is what I would use if I could afforf them...LOL

Your not gonig to get traction on the streets anyway, surface prep or lack there of ..hahahaha
I run a nitto nt-01 on the rear and a goodyear f1 on the front..... 18x315 in the back, doesnt matter when you hit 525 -540 or more its tire spin time.. I can be driving down the street doesnt matter what speed and when you hit the power and get into the band where your making 500+ it starts to spin them... could be at 15 mph or could be at 60 mph... asphalt, concrete.. it isnt prepped to lay the power down

My Continental Extreme Contact DWSs are just now getting bald in the rear after 15K miles (my stock Pzeros lasted just 10K); the fronts are still good. Of course, they're harder tread, so they won't stick quite as well as others, but plenty good enough for me and worth the extra tread life!

*EDIT* Okay, my math stinks today, I put the Continentals on at 16K; now I'm at 31K, so I meant to say I have 15K miles on them. :P

Well, do you want traction or long life? The two don't really go hand in hand. 6000 miles for Invos is pretty quick. I'd expect to get more out of them than that. It's $500 for a new set for the rear I'd expect over 10,000 miles out of them with some mixed aggressive driving. Just googling it some corvette drivers are claiming over 20,000 miles. Sounds like you put a lot of $ in your car it would be a shame to wreck it trying to save a few hundred dollars a year with cheap/hard tires. I put down 530 RWHP and have a nitto invo 315 on the back, so far it's been a great tire. I haven't experienced any of the sidewall roll I've heard others complain about either. Another thing to keep in mind is the better you hook the longer the tire will last. I was burning out all the time in my winter tires (Not intentionally, yokohama parada specX good tire just really not designed for the power. still have them on the front) I doubt I'll get another season out of those.

soft tire is what you want but it wont last long.. nature of the beast.. you cant get grip with a hard tire

With NTO5R's out back, you can still spin them when you get on it. It's the street, it will eat them and leave you with a nice set of slicks.

Im happy with my Vredesteins. They handle better then my stockers for sure and better in the rain also. Dry traction seems to be the same, as I burn through anything thats not a slick it seems....

Right on. I was shocked and appalled that they were gone in just 6K miles of moderately aggressive driving and no burnouts or track runs. On the other hand, for being a harder rubber, these Continentals hook surprisingly well (oh, and they're not cheap either, but at least they last longer to make up for that). As for the power (and gearing) level I'm at now, I'm probably near the limits of traction for these tires. If I get anything else, like a cam, I might have to eventually go back to a softer, stickier, shorter-life tire...but as they say, "gotta pay to play," right?

Maybe silly suggestion, and don't know if they're available in the US, but I have Hankook Ventus ST on my Range Rover Sport, and they grip and last very well.

Certainly going to consider putting them on the Camaro once I'm through the first set...

I've had Invos for about 15k miles and I bet I get another 3-5K out of the rears. Same size as squirrel. I drive a mix of aggressive and mellow.
