I don't know about ya'll, (yep this Jersey girl has been living down south too long
) but I don't ever need to even come close to "semi-slamming" the trunk shut. Now the older gen 3 & 4 hatchbacks...yes, but not this trunk, close and latches like butter.

I cary a set of latex gloves in my pockets and in the trunk. That way I never leave finger prints.
Just kidding. It's hard to see finger prints on white. So I never noticed.
