Closing the trunk

Not a terribly exciting topic I admit but has anyone found a better way to close the trunk other than reaching up and semi-slamming it down with your hand on top of the center of the spoiler? Seems like there'd be a pull loop or something on the underside of the trunk or something. Not only do I not like getting my fingerprints on the top-outside of the spoiler each time but it can't be good for it either. Maybe I'm missing something...

I started out by gently pulling down by grabbing the bow tie, but that still left finger prints on the emblem. Go over to the side and push down on the spoiler (top of truck lid) with the back side of your forearm.

Actually that doesn't work as well as you might think with the hydraulics propping the truck open. I can only be thankful the car has a sensor alerting you to your momentary descent into automotive stupidity.
