As an FYI the part the OP mentioned IS being released. It's on the gmaccessoriezone.com website and it is used as a part in the new Synergy series. You will also notice that there are prepainted heritage grilles, gfx, and dove tail spoilers in the 4 synergy colors.

Ugh. You are full of little tricks and secrets, lol. Why didn't you tell me this before I drilled my new console, lol. No biggie. I like them where they are though. I didn't know you could file the LED.

I am not that good as a teacher, i am more of a do it guy, i did it for the outside door handle lights, So i did the same on the cup holder.

I did it a little different. I bought the AAC footwell strip that matches ABL and a Billet cover for the footwell lighting. I cut and mounted two of the indivual LEDs to the bottom of the Billet piece so they shine down. I think it came out pretty well.

here is a pic of mine, i put them on the top of the plastic piece and have a case that goes over the cup holders, the light reflects on the case and lights all around w/o having to have them stick out or be seen

this is metal case, cant really see the redness in the cup holder because the dome light over takes it

sorry took pics with my phone there not very good but you get the idea

Strange, Illuminated Footwell Lighting shows up under Interior as an option along with the 4 gauge cluster when building a 2SS. I thought the 4 gauge cluster was included in the 2SS?
