The MCC website says they only expect about 400 cars to show up which is about 500-600 less than the GM nationals in the past, has anyone heard of any actual preregistration numbers?

Yea but all 400 cars are camaros and firebirds. At carlisle you have to factor in some other cars. But honestly 80% of Carlisle use to be Camaros. Now that number is going to drop quite a bit.

73 is right, your going to lose a big chunk of the cars seeing as most of the cars have been camaros. I will ask the club at our meeting next week about numbers

Honestly i agree. But i have heard some of the things carlisle was demanding and they were just very unreasonable. The MD camaro club did the right thing by leaving. Hopefully carlisle realizes they wont have as many people and therefore less money and beg them to come back in 2012.

Or maybe Camaro5 members can step up and replace the MD Camaro club

One thing I wonder is which show GM will be supporting. For instance every year I have been the Carlisle, Fbodfather shows up with GM show cars for the event..and takes part in it. I am wondering which one he is attending. My fear is taking one decent event, and turning it into two smaller events. It would have been MUCH better to have them different weekends. Wonder what was behind the whole making it the same weekend decision? They descided to split the show 7-8 months before..so it's not like people would not have had notice of a new date.

Tom Henry Racing is going to Maryland...I would assume that he would go wherever GM is going since he's Fbodfather's cousin.
