Strongly agree that by now, there should be some really good ads and commercials for the CAMARO put out by GM. Especially on the official website. A video of this car in action would do wonders for sales and in this generation, it should be a top priority. I know that GM is having money probs. now, but again, the advertising and update to the website seems like a crucial thing to me.

Does anyone remember the Chevy SSR commercial where this bright yellow jet-car thing came over the horizon and ended up on the car-hauler? Wasn't that the coolest? Although I really wasn't a fan of the SSR, it did make me consider buying one. Got me really pumped up watching those ads.

Yeah, it is pretty sad considering how easy it is to make these changes. I would bet there's no shortage of GM upper management that have kids that are more than capable of updating a website. Heck, I'll bet they could go to any local high school and find 25 students capable, and willing, to update the site for free just for the experience. Since they're looking for the Camaro to be a big hit and money maker for them, it is rather odd that they have neglected the site for so long.

I think they should have video of a V6 doin a BIG FAT SMOKIN' BURNOUT and then swing inside and show the DIC reading 25+ MPG!!!

Maybe Chevy should look at the "Mini" website. I was on there yesterday. You can build your car, with a gillion options, then print out a full color brocure with pics of the car you built. Awesome!

Yes it did get the blood flowing. There wasn't any kind of a burn out or drifting, just a classy "here we come" attitude.

I know that GM wants to appeal to a multitude of customers with the CAMARO, but let's face it. This is not going to be "Your Father's Oldsmobile". Judging solely by the fact that they are offering a Hurst Short Throw Shifter tells me that "There's a Need for Speed" customer base that they are undoubtedly trying to appeal to MORE. So let's get on with the good vids and ads and an updated appeal to the Whole Wide World. If for no one else....ME! HAHAHAHAHA!

I kinda liked the old website that was at chevrolet.com/performance forever, but alas, that was only for the concept. :-/

I just wish they would put a good "build your own" section on there. But im guessing that all the options and colors arent in stone yet so they are waiting.

one thing to keep in mind is that this car has not even started production. maybe GM is waiting untill they get the cars moving out of the factory before zazzing up their website.

that being said.... I think zazz is a terrible word to use.
