yeah what does a ls3 one on a l99 do?

I have the Corsa Cat back 2.5" exhaust behind a set of Dynatech SuperMaxx LT headers with high flow cats on my L99. As mentioned right at start up, there is a good little bark but nothing annoyingly loud. Generally that little exhaust pop on start up as the engine revs up and then idles out.

Driving, the system offers a very solid sound up to around 3000 rpms. Very nice for cruising as there is no drone of any kind at cruise rpms. Once RPMs gets to the 4000 range, things start to change and the car gets loud in a hurry. At 5000 rpms, very mean sound, at 6000, you will make small kids and some ladies cry!!! LOL

Quiet when you want it, but also allows you to have some fun and certainly sounds like a muscle car when you want to as well. Best of both worlds. At idle speed, it does not sound much louder then stock but when you get on the throttle, totally different beast. No question there is a V-8 under the hood with the corsa but it still has good manners most of the time.

Mine is the LS3 Corsa on my L99. The L99 corsa has resonators in the X-pipe whereas the LS3 is just a standard x-pipe. The LS3 is about 15% louder than the L99 version. The built in resonators are there to mask the AFM sound.

Is that the only difference? Or does it shape the sound at the lower RPM's a little differently as well?

I would be curious to hear them side by side.

My neighbor had complained about just about every car i have owned. I have the corsa and she hasn't said a word about it.

THE HELL WITH THE NEIGBORS!!! I SEND THEM HAPPY **** U ALL DAY LONG!!!! THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT SPEEDING DOWN THE STREET WHEN EVERYBODY DOES IT. EVERY BODY HAS SOME SORT OF MUSCLE CAR OR A MOTORCYCYLE. AND W ALL KNOW THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A QUIET MUSCLE CAR!!! I HAD A GUYTELL ME HE WOULD CALL THE COPS ON ME FOR DOING 25mph BUT BECAUSE THE ARH HEADERS AND CORSA WAS TO LOUD FOR HIS GAY ASS NEON HE WAS OFFENDED.. SO I REPLIED NICELY, ILL CALLEM FOR YOU THEN TAKE YOU TO COURT FOR HARRASSEMENT! NO MORE PROBLEMS JUST DIRTY LOOKS!!! THE HELL WITH NON CAMARO OWNERS!!!
