It's the Volt.

Shadows can be misleading. That's why I love them so much. But that is DEFINITELY a Volt.

I actually read something about this in a mag a few month back. I wanna say it was a Car and Driver. But the first article I read (on the same page) was about Ford considering going European with a planned new body style for the Stang (BUTT ugly BTW). But the follow article was very short, and just said that Saleen (not Roush) had been talking to GM about a possible partnership. The photo attached to the article was the ass end of our beloved Camaro (probably the BB), with a "Saleen" license plate. Did any one else read this? I wanna say it was at least a couple weeks or a month before I went on deployment, and we left around 1 August. So perhaps June/July timeframe?

Personally I don't care if Saleen or Roush decides to partner up with GM. I'm not getting my Z28 until 2011 or so, so that just means more options for me. I mean shit,... to be the owner of one of the first EVER Saleen or Roush Camaros,... I kinda like that thought. Of course in keeping with Saleen prices, I'd have to sell my kids.

I remember reading something about saleen 2 in a mag. I would have kept it. but seeing how all my stuff is scattered between my apartment and storeage because I'm moving it there. yea I won't be able to find it. oh well.

as for whoever does partner with GM. I'm with TAG on this. FOOSE!!!!!!! i'd give him any car I owned and fully trust him to do it right.

There was a whole slew of Saleen theorys and rumors right before the Movie. My Opinion? I don't have one Saleen made a 'Camaro' for the movie, so auomatically that meant a GM/Saleen partnership? I don't think so. I'll wait and see, but after years working off a Butt-ugly stang (j/k ), and splitting whatever soul it had left among hundreds of different versions...I can understand a need for change. I just hope they don't...Saleen has a knack for that soul-sucking thing, don't they

I'd love to see a Callaway Camaro. Too bad the pics of the "C16 Vette" look absolutely terrible. Almost like a Vector M12 but ugly.

The Callay Vette with the C4 (I think) looked amazing as it was subtle changes and that thing was fast as hell. A friend of mine has one and gives me goosebumps still to remember when he let me drive it a few times.

Nice truck, but I was more interested in the Impala concept picture at the top of the web site. It looks REALLY cool!

I'm hoping 'GMMG' will once again be involved with the new Camaro.

They made one of my two favorite Camaro's of all time. The 'Intimidator SS'.

no hood bump in the middle. ??

as for the different versions. i frikin hate a 30 HP bump and $10,000 in upgrades. for christ sake put a cold air intake and bigger exhaust on it and your there... a cheap computer tune and a stocker is over that mark.. so why bother with the big money!!!

It's not always just the HP. Alot of the time it's the suspension, brakes, wheels, and interior trim that also get bumped.

That's the Chevy Volt pictured at the top of the web site, not an Impala concept.
