You are not getting an extra $1K available to employee pricing....

Build your car and it will tell you what your car will cost. With employee discount. This is where I do all my shopping for GM cars as my Father-in-law is a GM retiree. Recently we got my wife a 2011 Impala and saved $7500 off MSRP. Of course you wont find that on a Camaro but, it will help you when talking to the dealer. We built the Impala, printed the information, faxed it to the dealer and asked. "Can you do this?" The dealer said "yes we can do that for you". That was on a Monday. That Saturday my wife was driving her new Impala.

Also you will need a GM authorization code to get the discount. Your dad can call and get this for you.
