The worst is when someone asks you if you have a BOV or are going to put one on, or ask if I know anything about BOVs and which to get for John Doe's car.

That's when you ask them if they know what one is. Then ask if turbo cars all have them. Then you ask if they know that an STI is Turbo. And finally, you ask them "Are you genuinely a moron or do you work at it?"

GM small blocks are amazing. You said you'd like to start off with lotsa torque?
How about an L76 with above 200 ft/lbs off idle or better - an LS3, with over 250 ft/lbs off idle?

I know other engines can do this...but GM motors are, special.

There's something fishy about those dynographs...why aren't the torque and HP curves crossing at 5200 RPM like normal?

Unfortunately I need an interim car between my eclipse and camaro so I'm looking at a saturn down in SJ in about an hour.

They use a different scale on the torque side. Not sure why...better clarity maybe? Or perhaps they just want the horsepower to look like more - even though any horses rear-end knows that torque is what really counts, right?
