Short answer... yes.

Long answer...

I ordered on 10/17 but order wasn't submitted til 10/20, I was number two. If CGM wouldn't have been on restraint I would have gone in with the first batch. But since my dealer only got two for first run, and mine was constrained, it now goes in April 13th, as does two more for that dealer.

So to sum up... if you were number five and the dealer got 2 every month, you wouldn't be til the third consensus, assuming no constraints for you or anyone in front of you.

I ordered on the first day which was the 16th of October for us. But they didnt submit them in until January 29th.
I remember me douting my dealer before, trying to find out why they submitted so late, and then i was told that GM Canada and GM work differently, and the whole time, i was in good hands. Feels great!\One question, my dealer has told me since day one to get excited when we get a build date.
Do dealers get build dates for their cars or just a TPW? My dealer specifically said April 20th. What does this weeks allocation range from? Maybe he read it wrong.
Does it say April-20th- April 27th?
If not, then i actually do have a build date.

Just found out my order has been submitted for production and should be pulled anytime now for the April 13 - 19 build week. Man this is getting exciting.

And congrats to all of the above lucky people, especially the V6 buyers. But you see, I'm #1 priority at my dealer with 5 total guide cars and you're still getting your LS's and LT's as quickly as I'm getting my SS.

What do you all think we'll get...VIN's under 4000...possibly?

I am hoping most of us will be under 5000 at least! I have the same dates of 4/13/09-4/19/09! I am interested to see how quickly we move from the 2000 code to 3800.

I was also #1 at my dealer, but he only had 3 allocations...I feel very lucky!

Hey, Rodrunner! Mine got submitted today also and I'm guessing we'll have the same build week. Just waiting to hear back about an event change or TPW. Bet ours will be on the same truck! But since Annapolis is between us and Canada I'll pick up mine first!

As like TJ, I ordered back in Oct, and order wasn't put in til late Jan/early Feb. I thought the dealer was lazy & crazy. But it didn't matter.As long as they were in when GM started accepting orders. As stated in another thread, I'm #2 at a small dealer and at 3000.

Swapped e-mails with my dealer today and found that mine is scheduled to be pulled for production scheduling next Thursday (3/26). Given the standard 6-8 week production & delivery schedule, I'll have it by Memorial Day. When I get status confirmation, I'll post an update.

My order is going to be pulled on 3-24-09. Just got off the phone with my dealer and thats really all he could tell me. I said I would call back on wenesday to see for sure.

Shame on you, 1_2Many, you haven't been keeping up....not that it's easy....without losing your mind!

Ok, so if by allocation you mean the total pre-order cars he can submit through Q3, yes, the more he gets, the higher number he'll get early on in the process. A dealer that gets only one may not be allowed to submit it until July...possibly. The other thing is priority which should follow order sequence...1st order, 1st priority...orders are pulled in priority order. Date of order has little to do with it.

You are lucky, Angela, JMAN's dealer only has one or two total, and I don't think has gotten any in concensus yet. Hey, 5000 or under will be fine with me!
