is your order really being pulled by gm
my question is is your order really being pulled by the gm plant or is your dealer getting his first allocation .my dealer says when he gets his first allocation it is given to priority number one .if there is any constraints on what you want it is given to priority number 2 and so on also he gets it on a thursday .and you have to the following tuesday to make any changes as long as there are no constraints .so if you ordered blue as priority number one but he knows somebody that wants it he can make changes to priority one . im lost my self .this is what my understanding is with this .my guy has no reason to lie .good frind of family .

Basically, the dealer can assign whatever priority he wishes until the order is pulled by GM for production then it's out of his and your hands.
MOST dealers do the right thing and prioritize according to "first come, first serve" and adjust priorities as constraints become relevant. |
