Was considering a jannetty tune some day and have serious questions concerning asking for a 91 or 93 tune. Just thinking-slowly-slowly
We even have a Sunoco station in town that sells the 260 racing fuel and I think it is 101 octane..Been a while but I need to go by there and check it out. Used to use it in our old school cars when we went to the track on Saturdays..

Update on the Sunoco racing fuel, one of our stations on the way to the track sells 100 octane unleaded and 110 octane leaded fuels for 8 bucks a gallon, not cheap but woth putting a few gallons in for track days..

I noticed the car loosing some of it's pep after about a half tank was run through it, ran it way down and filled back up with Sunoco 93 which is what I always use anyway, ran 2 tank fulls through it and the performance did NOT pick back up like it was, seemed real sluggish still from the 91 so I did the fuse pull last night before I went to bed, put them back in this morning and going to work this morning and after work this afternoon I had my screamer back. Car runs like a scalded ape again, love it. I didn't think 2 points on the octane scale would make a difference, but it did in my case. The owners manual says premium fuel, so I guess that means 93, not 91.Have fun ..Enjoy the ride..
Depends on the altitude you run your Camaro at, too. At 3500 ft above sea level, I can tell you that 93 octane is a waste of time and money. Around here it's not even an option. 91 octane FTW this high up!

91 works, its all we get here in Vegas. But if you can get 93, use 93
I wouldnt go under 90 for sure.

Thus far i have never seen a station in the Tampa area that does not carry 93. Some even carry zero Ethenol 93. Drop in a tank full of that and she feels like a rocket burning from both ends. I have however seen many stations here that do not carry 91.

I did the fuse pull last night but I have only beenable to find 91 here. I am thinking of adding an octane booster. Has anyone tried this? I noticed a little difference after the fuse pull but not by leaps and bounds like I had hoped. It's running good but certainly not a beast as it should be. I did run a tank of 87 through it one time but hoped the fuse pull would fix it? I'm not as happy as I could be!
