SS OWNER'S FUEL CONSUMPTION?
I was just curious what our SS owner's fuel consumption readings have been.
(My Readings) L/100KMS = 12.4 (18.9 MPG) DRIVING METHOD (i.e. city, hwy, both) = City Manufacturer's Stats: 2010 SS Engine: LS3 6.2L V-8 (for manual transmissions) -- LS3 engine specifications Fuel Economy: 16 city/24 highway (13.2 city/8.4 highway L/100km) L99 6.2L V-8 (for auto transmissions) -- L99 engine specifications Fuel Economy: 16 city/25 highway (13.2 city/7.9 highway L/100km) |

I get normally 19.5 mpg on average (Hwy. and City Mix) and got 23.5 mpg on trip to MTI Funfest in my M6. It is still way better than my 07 F150 did and this is way more fun to drive....

I am averaging just over 20 since I switched out to my SOLO PERFORMANCE Mach X exhaust. BUt that is a lot of highway and little local. About 2/3 highway!

I get around 17MPG on average. It's hard to believe in the city anyone could get over 20MPG though..

Thanx folks, for a second there I thought there was a hole in my gas tank
 . I'll chalk it up to, not enough V8 years under my belt, plus I didn't drive my '80 vette as much as my Camaro. But where are my Canadian drivers at? |

My average right now is 11.1 L/100. It could be a lot better, but I have been to the drag strip a few times and I also just got my Roto Fab intake so I am constantly hammering the gas pedal down to hear the intake scream
