I know it won't give quicker shifts, that's a TCM function.
As far as styling imo it looks better than the stock Camaro wheel.
My primary motivation is to get a paddle shifter that isn't "up" on the left and then "down" on the right. GM really cut an unnecessary corner when they did that on the Camaro.
If you track the car it's difficult to always reach the paddle you need.
I was hoping maybe one of the sponsors that are familiar with both cars might chime in.
