Another quote from Ray in the comments...
Quote:
Wes and I happen to disagree on the interior more than anything else. I happen to think the interior's spot-on, but that may have a lot to do with my love of 'merican muscle.
I don't have a love of 'merican muscle necessarily (I'm too young to remeber the old days) but I the only real gripes I have about the interior is the bland passenger dash and cloth inserts.

Eleven seconds faster around Nurburgring, but not as involving? WTF does that mean....it doesn't make you work as hard...and that's bad? I guess no car can be all things to all people. And I was surprised at Edmunds low skid pad number, and especially the low 0-60 time, but that may very well be par for them. At least MT got reasonable times.

I think we all know that Jalopnik and Edmunds have the least qualified staff writers and drivers ever... so I dont put much weight in what they say... so it wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that they both got slower times than MT, CaD and R&T

Jalopnik came off as particularly harsh...it almost seemed like they went out of their way to find every little tiny thing that was wrong about the car...and brushed off most of the good stuff...I think I'm choosing to ignore the entire article. :(

You know a car review is legit when it's preceded by a Star Wars reference...

Whether or not you disagree with the article, there is no lack of direction here at all. There are no contradicitions in the article at all. What he said in a nuthsell was........

On paper the car handles very well delivering good numbers. However, the car is never very involving in this regard. The steering is numb both on-center and under cornering and there is too much understeer. He also criticized the quality and ergonomics of the interior, particularly driver positioning and sightlines. Nothing he stated elsewhere in the article contradicts any of this.

If you choose to disagree with the author's findings that is another issue entirely.

I am still confused from that article. Like to know what they were on!

well i belive his report is pointing out, that the camaro is good but not grate. I think most where expecting better numbers out of the reviews, however the camaro is a fatty and that's whats f ing it up.

I think they were trying to say was on paper the Camaro is a winner, however they were hoping for a better driving experence.
