Very interesting Subzero. If this is truly the reason for the constraint, it sounds like the decision for the move is the result of so much unanticipated interest in the STS option, therefore, they've decided to move to the production line to be installed at the factory. Now, because of the constraint, the majority of people that originally ordered the STS are dropping it like hot potatoes (like I did). Almost sounds like a catch-22 for the pre-orders. I guess for the regular orders going forward in Q3, it won't be an issue. Kinda of sucks...

Mechanical section-Deleted (VYV) LPO, Hurst short-throw shifter, completely.

No, it will still be available through GM Performance Parts. I imagine the removal of the LPO is just that. They took the LPO out, and eventually, they'll make it an RPO, factory-installed option. So far, the word is it won't be available at the factory until 3rd quarter this year. I hope it's sooner!

That means the LPO Hurst shifter (dealer installed/shown on window sticker) option is no longer available.Thats because its getting replaced with the RPO Hurst shifter(factory installed/shown on window sticker) option. And the dealer installed Hurst shifter(not shown on window sticker) ordered through the parts department is still going to be available.

My dealer also informed me the Hurst option was cancelled. He believes it is cancelled for good...as in not even going to be a dealer option.

I'm sure Hurst will release it as aftermarket eventually though.

Yes....the LPO Hurst shifter is permanently cancelled.

Ok I need sum help, my dealer got 6 allocations total, I'm #3, I had hurst on my order and Saturday I asked him about the constraint, he knew nothing, so I further ask does the # 1 & 2 have hurst? Yes, is this why none of his orders are pulled yet? All are 2ss? It's harbor chevy in Michigan city Indiana
