Never ever had the issue using chrome. Chrome is byfar faster than FF or IE. I will not use another browser for browsing the web.

Only use IE to run Cognos Reports at work.

I went to the "wrench" in the upper RH corner, clicked on "About Google Chrome." I either clicked on "look for updates" (or it may have begun the search on its own) and "reloaded" Chrome to install updates when asked. Bingo! Chrome is now working flawlessly, the way I am accustomed. Chrome rocks!

*edit- it does search for updates automatically when you click on "about..."
