I suppose it has a lot to do with how much you burn it at the track, and then factor in all the "show" burnouts performed...

I'll have to check out my rear brakes next slick swap I do and report back. I probably only have maybe 100, 110 healthy burnouts over two years with no lineloc.

But you probably stand on the brakes long enough to get em smokin and let off.... I believe this guy is locking them and holding it until he runs out of gas or the starter flags him to the line...

Also forgot to mention that line lock saves a TON of wear and tear on your stock differential. You ever see a car do a one wheel burn out? That's because the rear brakes have locked that one wheel in place and so now with only one wheel spinning it is burning up the clutches in the diff.
If you have a limited slip diff and a line lock, both wheels will always spin.

A little taste of it that can be accomplished...

Mine is tied into the horn switch... When I power up the line lock, it disables the horn...

Turn the power on and try the horn... no horn, good to go... Step hard on the brakes, hold the horn button, dump the clutch in the appropriate gear... when your ready to roll out, let off the horn button... The switch is lit up under the cover, so when I turn off to go get a time slip, I see the light and it reminds me to power off the line lock...

These pics were taken during the install so not all of the wires are hooked up but it gives you an idea of what it looks like...

Sorry they are so big...
