Checked today after reading about weak MAF and as suspected I have the WEAK. I noticed the surging when added intake and always feel like it doesnt respond to acceleration like it should. Ordered today from yall so I hope this helps!!!

You should benefit from it, as i did.... But remember to reset ecm [fuse pull] With My S.S LS3,, FUSE PULL HAD no bennefit, and car ran like it was a v6 for power.. So for my ss,ls3 to reset, - i had to do battery disconnect... And yes i tryed multiple times with just the fuses over night and i always run 93 octane... BUT FUSE PULL DIDNT WORK with mine, but battery disconnect did...MMMMMMMMM - And WOW !!!!! IF Car is stuck in lower timing table, and resets back, and you are running gas that is 93 octane you will deff know the diff....... it's like day and night diff
Iam curious tho on yours, as its a 2011.. as i thought by then the weak one's were not in them ??? but production date could determin this .. So did you have a single digit code on MAF ?? OR DOUBLE DIGIT... mine on my 2010 had a single [weak] and was code P. So i got one thru amazon, and is gm part , and cost me no more than 60.00 dollars, and has code of K24.. gm part # 15865791, and ac,delco # on package of 213-4222

My 11 had a Q MAF in it. Replaced with one from GM Parts House (K18) and picked up responsiveness but didn't dyno before/after. If you're doing anything with a power-adder in the future it's definitely worth $80 just for safety's sake.

I traded in my 1LT for a SS and while not slow, it just doesn't seem like a big difference in power to me. I have gone through a couple of tanks of 93 octane and done the fuse pull a couple of times.

I also added the CAI a few weeks ago and have pulled the use a couple of times since and it just doesn't seem to be a huge power difference from my LT.

Maybe it is just me but since I have never really had a 400 hp car, I guess I expected to be wowed and maybe even a little scared if I say floored it when getting on the freeway but I am not.

It's not slow, just not a big of a difference as I expected I guess

When you disconnected the battery, did you just disconnect the neg cable from the battery for a while?

yes i just disconnect the neg.--- time wise ??? ---well that is uncertain as some say over night and others say doesnt take that long... And some say fuse pull is all that is needed. BUT My SS would not bennefit from fuse pull, and all the hundreds ? of post i read there are many ways posted ? fuse or battery or both, and how long. - Well mine deff needed it, and battery disconnect was only way on my Standard S.S THAT SET TIMING BACK TO running 93 octane and was like WOW IN PULL AND POWER.. For what you state it sounds like you def need a reset ? -- I would do a battery disconnect over night and you could also pull out # 5 and 20 fuses too..
BUT Remember, after battery disconnect, you will have to reset things like your window detent or drop, or what ever you may call it, Also since you did a CAI, I would reset aver fuel economy... Then if your fuel is acually ?? 93 octane [there is gas labled at 93 but ,,but some stations fill lower octane into the 93 tanks] [rip off's ] .. drive the heck out it, --Dont drive like a old man . lol, Drive it so ecm can relearn fueling at diff, load's and rpm;s.. I personaly did not let car get below 2000 rpm while at crusing speed,, let ECM relearn.. Might want to top off tank at a diff location if you use the same place ???? and if car responds and is better maybe after a few tanks and all ok, try your normal station and after that tank is getting low see if any power loss

Thanks, I think that I'll give that a try.
