Umm... Road and Track recorded 12.9 @ 109 mph with an unbroken-in S4 ? That time is what you would call "slightly faster" than your average SS, though not the trap, showing the power deficit.

OK OK first off I don't buy anything mags print, none of them. Real life drivers aren't getting close to that with that car. It doesn't even make sense, think about it a 4000 lb car with 333hp and whimpy TQ running in the high 12s? Sorry buy physics don't even allow that, and AWD isn't that special that its going to propel a car with 100 less hp and more weight into the range that good drivers will get with a SS. Sorry not buying it and also these mags are the same people that publish any crap similar to how a stock SS was running neck and neck with a GT500. LMAO rightttttttttttttttttttttt, real world it's not happening when in the hands of the right drivers and if drivers are always equal then SS will always win just as a GT500 will always win as well.

I know this guy from work, he recorded a 12.698 @ 108.5 mph after it was broken in. All of these are STOCK, besides the one with the lowest trap, which has a Stasis ECU reflash.

You can easily post up stock SS running mid 12's as well. Doesn't matter. In the hands of average drivers, the SS will edge it out.

Average time for an Audi S4 in the right hands is 12.8-13.2. Road and Track, of all people, recorded 12.9 within the 3 days they had to test it and it wasn't broken in. Though it's power deficit compared to the SS shows up in the trap speed. It's 1/4 mile time average is right up there with the SS, it's trap isn't. Need I might add that it's AWD so these numbers are much easier to obtain... Verstehen Sie ?

awesome, i love these stories so much, since I am buying one soon it really reinforces my decision, not that there was ever another decision in what car to buy, but to decide that it would still be faster than most out there.

Except, he got smoked by SGOS252382's modded SS, one that is nearly a second faster through the 1/4 than a stock SS...
