A huge difference. I have a M6 and i got the sct tuner from jannettyracing.com and ted hooked me up with a custom tune just for my car and it woke that car up!!! Quicker throttle response more torque and just feels more powerful. I would highly recommend getting the sct tuner from ted and letting him tune it for you and if u plan on adding more mods no problem ted can retune it for you for 50 bucks i believe. His custom tunes cost 500 dollars but just buy the tunner and the first tune is free and i believe he told me the next one is 50 bucks. Great deal!!! Heck tell him David Shepard sent you maybe i can get some throw backs lol!

It is my belief that the computer onboard records all of this information and the timeline, so any tune back to stock means nothing to the prying eyes of the service department when it comes to getting any work done on the PWT. There's a bunch of discussions about this on the forum I've browsed in the past. It's definitely something you'd want to research before deciding.

what about a reset? let the car learn the new air flow, when i had my L99, i had a V-ram intake. I really couldnt tell the differnce until i reset the car by pulling the fuses, and WOW! the car was ultra quick for an auto! I had the delayed response too, it stoped after the pull, ty it!

After driving it for a couple of days, it seems to have gotten better. I don't feel that slight delay anymore. I'll keep an eye on it but I think it should be OK. Thanks for the feedback!

Good to hear, the CAI will only help with throttle response. I would agree with some of the others who commented that a tune will greatly improve the off the line throttle response that the Camaro seems to be lacking. The difference between a stock Camaro and one with a CAI and a tune are in my opinion 2 totally different rides. Thank you for choosing CAI Inc.!

I have the C.A.I CAI and noticed a throttle response improvement immediately. Then I got it tuned and felt like I got a whole new Car!! Definitely reccoment the CAI Inc. set-up as well as getting a tune!!...Exhaust is next.

Thanks for the info. I won't be doing any tuning as I want to keep my warranty intact. If I have the car long enough beyond the warranty I amy consider doing something then.

If the tune does not take care of it, there is another solution. There are two different type of MAFS. If you take a look at the Vararam Intake and go to their website and down load the PDF for installation, it talks about the problem you are having. There is a part number on your MAFS and if you have the "weak one" you can upgrade to the better one. Its a GM part and a fixs the hesitation.
